A lovely story:
Telsing Khaiminlal Haokip cracked the MPSC, 2016 with an overall top 25th rank and is one of the youngest (1994 born) to achieve this notch in first attempt with little formal preparation.
Besides, he was the 2010 HSLC & 2012 HSSLC topper from Churachandpur and also came in 3rd position in BA (Geography).
He achieved MCS like no others did. As per sources, he borrowed few books to prepare for the tough Combined Civil Service Examination conducted by MPSC. Pauperize, he put on “sandal” to appear for the two written examinations.
To add, he borrowed money for bus and auto fare from neighbours to attend the last interview.
